BMSi Seminar Overview
BMSi Seminars are conducted by industry expert Carl R. Bogardus, Jr., M.D., a renowned radiation oncologist and past president of both ACR and ASTRO. BMSi Seminars speakers include D. Scott Simmons, BSRT (R)(T), ROCC, President of Eagle Consulting and Susan Vannoni, MS, RT (R)(T) President of Radiation Oncology Consulting, LLC. Both Mr. Simmons and Ms. Vannoni are radiation therapists with years of experience auditing and working with radiation oncologists and their staffs.
These day-and-a-half comprehensive courses include the latest Medicare rulings and CPT codes, as well as examples of their proper application. Professional, technical and global billing situations are addressed. Dr. Bogardus’ most recent publication, “Principles of Billing, Coding, & Compliance in Radiation Oncology”, is utilized throughout the seminar; a copy is included with paid attendance.

Following the seminar’s final session on Friday, an optional chart audit workshop is offered from 12 noon – to 1:00 PM. Attendees are encouraged to bring a chart and the billing sheets associated with that chart to utilize during the audit workshop.Workshop attendees will be taught how to audit their own charts.
BMSi radiation oncology billing and coding seminars are limited in size to ensure quality and guarantee personalized attention. Reservations are made on a first come – first serve opportunity.
